About Me

Washington, DC, United States
Heather Capell Bramble is mother of two kaleidoscoping kids, Jonah and Vera. She has a magical kaleidoscope, often in her back pocket, and it usually helps her turn her normally chaotic life into something beautiful. Her goal is to have as much fun and try to be as happy as they can while on the uncharted journey of motherhood. This means doing lots of arts and crafts, going on crazy adventures, and celebrating all kinds of holidays - and yes, trying to laugh along the way!

Nana, Pop and Shabbot!

Despite the debacle destination that our Florida trip turned out to be, practically speaking... it seems Jonah & Vera loved hanging out with Nana and Pop - they are still talking about it... Jonah's & Vera's ability to enjoy themselves are not thwarted by sickness, cold weather, rain or any of those things that had me living a bit "on the edge" last week... almost 2 years olds and almost 4 years olds just want to play with toys, eat extra treats, get lots of hugs & kisses from nana and pop, and give lots of smiles!

Good job Nana and Pop - Jonah & Vera just loved being with you!

Our second night in Florida was Shabbot... Nana busted out the frozen kosher chicken & challah, wine, and lots of treats (pink forsted cupckaes!) - we love a good Shabbot and we had a great time...

When the kids weren't shabboting with Nana & Pop, they were hanging out in GG's condo doing what kids do... playing, snuggling and eating...

Playing trains, coloring with magic pens, eating special Nana snacks, taking walks around Wynmoor, playing shuffleboard, swmming, being silly, going on adventures, taking out the garbage, dong the laundry, cleaning up, taking naps, showering in the the special bathroom, running on the catwalk, sitting on terrace, snuggling on the couch with chocolate milk and watching TV, and getting lots and lots of hugs and kisses... it's all so much better when you get to do it with Nana and Pop!

Happy Friday everyone and Shabbot Shalom!
