Karate Kids' Kanukah! - Third Night

On Monday night, we hosted a Karate Kid Kanukah at our house with our good buddies from Not-So-SAHM.  Boy did we have fun.

First, Jonah suited up and we went to a Monday afternoon Karate class - not our normal class time but it was super fun - especially since we were with our buddies!

We all came back to our house for some Chanukah fun!

We made banana menorahs. We used one banana, 9 pretzel sticks, and 9 raspberries - and voila!  you've got a healthy menorah snack!

Then we broke out the good stuff - fig newton dreidels.  Cut the corners off the fig newton, add pretzel stick and top it off with some chocolate icing - voila fig newton dreidels!

Then we had potato latkes for dinner.

After dinner, we lit two menorahs - one for each family and sang the blessings - and then Jonah gave everyone a small dreidel filled with candy... there can never be enough treats on Chanukah!

It was a great night!  Thanks Not-so-SAHM crew for sharing it with us.
