During the winter break, we went on a bunch of adventures. It was seriously fun. One day, we adventured with our favorite Auntie C to the National Geographic Museum. Currently, they are showing these two exhibits that everyone had been talking and raving about: Birds of Paradise and 1001 Inventions.
We love NatGeo and their exhibits are often totally hand-on and super fun! These two did not disappoint.
We started with the Birds exhibit. There were a ton of buttons to push and things to look at and the bird photos were amazing. Jonah and Vera loved the "Dance Dance Evolution" exhibit. You go into this little area and it has you dance like the bird... they just thought it was hilarious!
We stopped for snacks in the lobby. Jonah may have had a little misbehaving floor action at that point... but we recovered and then went to the 1001 Inventions exhibit. Again, tons of buttons, building blocks, and phones to pick up and hear about the inventions/inventors. Jonah & Vera loved it!
Always a great time - We are so lucky to have Nat Geo just down town from us. And a special thanks to Auntie C for sharing such a fun time with us!
Happy Adventuring everyone!
