Leaving on a Jet Plane!

A/T...

On Monday, August 24, Jonah and I left on a jet plane to NY!  Jonah was so excited to go to Nana Camp!  We had been planning on it all summer.  He had his little rollerbag that looked like a plane and was ready to go.  He helped me check in on the computer - he was very good at it!  We went through security - and he thought that was pretty interesting.  Then we hung out and went shopping, and bought a little plane.  We had lunch at TGIFs - grilled cheese and then went to the gate - and waited and then waited some more.

Turns out our plane was delayed.  And then delayed again.  But Jonah was a trooper and we managed for the whole time.  Helped we bought the toy plane and the windows at the airport are super cool.  Finally we boarded the plane!

He loved it.  The thing is he has been flying since he was really little but our last flight was April 2011, so it has been a while.  He loved the window, the tray table, the drinks... it was all fun!

We finally arrived at the airport and Nana picked us up!  He was excited to see her.  We went back to my parents house and settled in... He set up his trains.  He had snack with GG and then they played cards?!?!

Then I left for the airport!

Nana, Pop and GG tell me they had an awesome time.  Jonah said he loved it!  He was well behaved and slept in his car bed.  We LOVE Nana Camp.  Thanks Nana, Pop & GG.  We can't wait to do it every year and Vera is dying to go too!

On Friday, I drove up with Vera to pick him.  Before we left Nana Camp, he let me take a picture of him in front of the Nana Camp sign.  He looks like he enjoyed it!
