The other day we decided to check out a super close playground that we had never been to - Lafayette PlaygroundI wasn't sure we could go to it during the day as I wasn't sure whether it was attached to Lafayette Elementary School or not.
As it turns out, there is a whole Lafayette Park that is next to the school and the school has its own playground - so it was free for us to go and play midday!
I noted before that just in the past few weeks, Jonah & Vera have started to love playing together on the playground. This is very exciting for me (and to them). It makes for fun play ground time that involves less of me than required before. This is a good thing.
We had a great time at the Lafayette Playground. There is a little one that is gated. But we also walked over to the bigger one that is not gated but even more fun (there was a spiderweb crawling thing over there and a big turtle). We had a great afternoon and look forward to many more outings there.
And we found the water splash area - clearly a fun spot once we make it through this winter!
Happy Playgrounding Everyone!
