The politics may have been heating up around here this week but the temperatures are dropping... fast and hard. The evenings are getting darker earlier... so before we reach the dark of winter - let's go back... to sunnier times this summer on Long Island at the farm, White Post Farm.
Jonah, Vera, Nana and I went at the end of Nana Camp. We had never been even though it is just down the street from Nana and Pop pop's house.
We had FUN!
Animals to feed. Trains to ride. Dora and Diego to meet. Rides to go on. Playgrounds to play on. Treats to eat.
Good times. Good stuff.
Thanks Pop pop for finding it.
And when I "misplaced" my camera, someone even found it for me!
We'll go back!
(BTW: the "white stuff" on the kids' faces is sun tan lotion!)
navigating life, one moment at a time... reflecting, refracting, reacting to it all... by doing, being, making, living, playing, loving and laughing with the world...

- Heather Capell Bramble is mother of two kaleidoscoping kids, Jonah and Vera. She has a magical kaleidoscope, often in her back pocket, and it usually helps her turn her normally chaotic life into something beautiful. Her goal is to have as much fun and try to be as happy as they can while on the uncharted journey of motherhood. This means doing lots of arts and crafts, going on crazy adventures, and celebrating all kinds of holidays - and yes, trying to laugh along the way!
