Happy July 4th!

We had a rocking party over here.  And now we are all exhausted.  You can see our story in the pictures below.  Good friends, good food, good times, - even when it is hot out - if you got the right thing going on - and we did... it is all good.  Thanks to our BESTEST buddies!  We love you all!

Let's watch a movie to start things off and keep us cool - move the party upstairs to the playroom - bring the drinks and the snacks!  Clearly the train table can be used for more than just trains!

Time to cool off in the pool!

and the sprinklers!

and why not some impromptu sunscreen art on the glass table...

because that is how we roll over here!

the grill masters at work!

some watergun action too!

and Jonah and Josh made up a game of throwing the boats in the bucket!  good job guys!  there was also lots of nakedness and competition peeing - I didn't photograph that...

July 4th American BBQ feast!

notice the decorations people!  we had it going on!  bunting and all!

and yes we had the traditional red, white and blue flag cake... Josh and Jonah did the decorations

and the eating

with plenty of help from Vera!

dessert for everyone!

and then it was fireworks time!  we had these little poppers that the boys loved!!!  here they are doing the firecracker dance!

Jonah is begging for more firecrackers!

and this is perfect!  the "snake" firecracker which clearly looks like FLAMING POOP!  now, did you get flaming poop at your July 4th party?!?!  Well, if not, it wasn't as good as our party!
