Rocking it out in Rockville!

We are happily city folk.  We used to be Dupont Circle city folk.  Now we are Chevy Chase city folk.  In the District are we!

But we have friends that used to be city folk and have since migrated to more suburban pasture.  We still like our friends... and because we are adventurers - we even make playdates and visit those friends... sometimes we even go to Rockville!

All kidding aside, Rockville (Bethesda, Potomac, etc.) are really nice places to live.  They have good schools and large living spaces.  We just really like the "walk out our front door" and we can go to Safeway, the bookstore, the library, etc.  kinda living.  And I really love living in a city.

Today, we adventured in Rockville and had a blast!  Reading books, running & chasing, rock climbing and playing in the sprays - end it off with a nice serving of self serve chocolate frozen yogurt, well that is basically a great play date with great buddies!  We'd even "rock it out in Rockville" again...

We spent the afternoon at the Rockville Town Square.  We started at the Rockville Library - it has a wonderful children's section with stuffed animals, toys, and tons of books!  We spent the rest of the afternoon in the Square running on the "green," climbing the rocks  (I wonder if there are rocks there because it is Rockville...) and a fantastic time frolicking in the sprays!

Kids fell asleep on the way home.  Which was good because I got them into the house sleeping and then I was able to deal with the air conditioner repairs that needed to be done!  Yep!  Ours broke last night, but now it is running - although a bit more work needs to be done.

Stay cool everyone and if ever you get to Rockville - check out the Square!
