Heather Capell Bramble is mother of two kaleidoscoping kids, Jonah and Vera. She has a magical kaleidoscope, often in her back pocket, and it usually helps her turn her normally chaotic life into something beautiful. When it's almost too hot to Shabbot!!!!!

Then it is definitely time to make some ice pops!!

So we did!  Another over 95 degrees day in Washington, DC... again the car thermometer hit 99!!!

I recently bought a bunch of Tovolo ice pop molds... as I could see where this too hot for everything summer was taking us.  Today we went at it!

Ice Pop Rings

Ice Pop Bugs

Ice Pop Spaceships

Jonah & Vera were psyched!

We used OJ, Cranberry Juice, Pink Lemonade, Peach Yogurt, Blueberry Yogurt and we even used some of those fruit squisher applesauce things...

I let Jonah decide what he wanted to put in.  He discussed it with Vera and then Jonah did it.

By snack time, the ice pop rings were done.  They loved it.

Shabbot Shalom!
If it's too hot, get an ice pop!  That's how we Summer Shabbot around here!
